The works of art alumnus, Richard Blackwell, on show

An alumnus of the ANU School of Art, Richard Blackwell, who has recently been awarded a Fullbright scholarship, had his most recent exhibition open at Flinders Lane Gallery in Melbourne last night. Featuring contemporary media, Yes is more highlights Richard's fascination with exploring real and virtual boundaries with veneers, digital projections and aluminium printing. Yes is more will be exhibited until 7 July.
Richard's work will also feature at an exhibition opening tomorrow at the Canberra Museum and Gallery. Word of mouth: Encounters with abstract art features the work of 19 contemporary artists engaged in a dialogue on abstract art. A mix of works by established and upcoming artists, each of the installations are by current or previous staff and students of the ANU School of Art. The exhibition will run until Sunday 19 August.
